Chapter 4:

This was a very interesting chapter. As a writer it's easy to get caught up in your own work. When working on a multimedia project, you will often, if not always, have a team to work with. Reading this chapter gives great insight into the exact members of the team, who they will be, and what their jobs will entail. There are many possible production team members, which means that working collaboratively is going to be a necessary skill in the world of multimedia writing.

  1. And we can only hope that we get great team members like the members of our team. It makes a huge difference when you like and get along with your co-workers.

  3. Hi Jessica, Am glad to read your post about the value of collaborative writing in a multimedia setting. As Lichelle noted, what a benefit it would be if an interactive media writer knows and can work with his/her team members successfully! At other times, though, as we mentioned in class we just need to be prepared that sometimes the company or organization we are conceptualizing an informative site for would have limited budget. In which case, the interactive writer has to take on multiple roles as well : information architect, interactive architect, and so fort. oh well, at least we have an idea of what makes up a team so we can select various roles that would make a specific project successful!

I enjoyed reading ALL your blog posts so far! Keep it up!!! Dr. B =)
